The town is great but the people are rude to new people coming into the community, I have only met two nice brothers that moved into town from Kansas, they were willing to help us out with anything that we needed for very little to no money unlike other people in town that wanted thousands to do the work. I wish other people in the community were this nice . They have a town slogan "Anything is possible in Platte" but when me and my wife were looking to move here and start a business we were met with roadblocks from the City Council and the Community. I don't see this town ever growing if they don't allow new things in the Community. The only place that is affordable is Dollar General. The only thing they have going for them is the Hunting and Fishing. We will be moving somewhere else later this year unless this town decides to allow new growth.

The quality of houses are very well, but housing in our community is very limited. We take care of abandoned houses. The cost of housing may be a little expensive but is average.
Many people who are living here will stay in this community and everyone here is quite friendly. People are very supportive in school events and are very engaged in events and activities.
