Great Town to live in and raise a family. We are very happy with the elected officials as well and police. Plainville, still has a small town feel with easy access to bigger towns and cities. The town also has a good number of family places to eat and seems to expanding. We do not have experience with the public-school system but the options for preschools have been amazing and we highly recommend Plainville Early Learning Center to anyone looking. Moving here from the South was a very big change but we are happy that this has become a home away from home for us.

Born and raised here, so I suppose the familiarity is nice and makes the town feel like home. I like that the town is starting to find an identity with more local shops and support for people like me, who have been here almost our entire lives. However, there are only a few events that the town hosts and they are usually pretty sporadically placed. I would like to see the town grow by attracting more outside organizations to take stake in what this town has to offer for a greater community.
This is a great little town! Friendly people, best restaurants (50 west, J Timothy s to name a few) and we are close to everything. This community is great for all ages. The school system is turning out great life long learnersm the Senior center makes me look forward to growing old! And the YMCA has something for everyone! ! I feel safe hear and I would never return to the snobby isolated higher ranked town I grew up in (Simsbury)
