While plainsboro is a nice, safe and quiet town with excellent schools, consider the following comments for someone who lived there for over 3 years.
- diversity is not really diverse here. The town is majority indian and Asian population. Their super bowl is the school orchestra and if your kids plays sports, the progras here are sub par.
- it's close to Princeton but that's it. A 5 star restaurant around the area (on average) is a 3 star in North Jersey. You have hidden gems but won't get much diversity.
- schools are great but be prepared for your kids to stay up late doing repetitive assignments.

Plainsboro is a quiet but affluent township, outside of Princeton, New Jersey, that is small in nature but significant in the landscape of Middlesex County. Plainsboro has a booming agricultural industry with several farms producing crops in peak season, a wonderful police department to certify resident safety, home to the Plainsboro Preserve, and has great schools.
The weather certainly is no southern california - there's snow, and rain, but there aren't any major disaster problems like hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes. The weather is more of an inconvenience than anything
