Pinole is a great little town, which boasts beautiful valley views, a variety of shopping options, parks, community centers, live theater, a skate park, and open space/trails. Newer development includes a Sprouts Market, The Habit, and Orange Theory. This is in addition to a Trader Joes, Peet's Coffee, Chipotle, and more. Fiat Music is a great little music store offering instruction. High School is being re-built.

Pinole is a small community where everyone is kind and loving. Being able to grow up within this community has been so amazing. Everyone knows everyone and it is just one big family. I would be happy to raise my own family here one day in the future. There is really nothing I wish to be changed because I've had nothing but a positive experience. The only thing is that the public schools aren't as great but with the new high school being built, I believe things will improve.
I was born and raised in Pinole. Pinole is a very quiet family oriented neighborhood. Pinole's diversity has changed over the years due to housing crisis and development changes. I attended private christian schools in the area Kindergarten through junior high that provided decent education. One school is still open which is El Sorbrante Christian School. Safety is a priority in Pinole since it is a small town. The cost of living has increased over the years as well most residents who have lived in Pinole have moved further out or out of state. Pinole for a young adult looking for night life may have to commute to major cities such as Oakland, San Francisco, and Concord. Overall if one wants to raise a family this a decent city to start.
