Moved here a year ago. we love it everyone says hi when passing. All our neighbors help when in need. Huge culture shock from Maryland! Police are very friendly and supportive if something stupid does arise. Love It!

You are a quick drive to other areas, but basically have to drive everywhere for things to do. I've lived in several places. Jacksonville is missing culture.
Here, everyone looks out for each other. When someone needs help changing a tire we help. Someone needs their house and/or pets watched, we help, that's what we do here.
