It is an absolutely beautiful area. Lake Ouachita can take your breath away and is a great place to spend summer days. It is one of the cleanest lakes in the country and being so close to it is a privilege. Overall, the people are kind and have southern hospitality. I would live here again. It's not a metropolis so it has a calm feel, but still has a lot of things to do.

There has been quite a spike in drug addicts and sellers moving in the neighborhood, but once the landlords are notified they are quick to remove them. There's no real violence in the neighborhood, very rarely any theft.
It was a very nice place to grow up. All of the neighbors were friendly and everything was quiet. Lately we've had an issue with drugs in the neighborhood, but they landlords are always quick to get out unwanted people.
