I like that Pinehurst is quiet and accessible. I am 10 minutes away from the Woodlands, 5 minutes away from Tomball and Magnolia, and can easily reach downtown Houston via 249.
Pinehurst is practically a part of Tomball, so my review will reflect that. The area is nice, and the schools are some of the best in the Houston area, but it is a fairly small town. Tomball itself does not have much to do but the Woodlands, spring, and Houston are all relatively close. It is a very conservative town (take that how you wish) and there is plenty of open land with lots of nature and wildlife.
I really enjoy the atmosphere of Tomball. The people are great, and I feel like the community is solid. I wouldn't be completely opposed to living there after college.
