Resident of 7 years. Pine Ridge and surrounding area is changing from a sleepy community to a more busier residential area. Lacks amenities for night life and shopping. Local economy needs to improve.

Bought a house here 7/2017 and have had the best experience! Quiet at night, not too many people roaming around, right nit community!
Crystal River offers a close knit community, good schools, low crime, and the manatee! I can definitely envision returning to work and raise my family here. I would rate the area in the top 20% of places to live in the US
