People in this area take advantage of what they have. Many of the houses around the area are in very poor conditions. They're dirty and unfixable, really. Housing prices are cheaper than in most surrounding towns. Abandoned properties are noticeable here. This is due to the fact of the poor conditions because of the previous owners or because they're too expensive for people in the area to afford.

There isn't very much going on in the area. We have the typical mom and pop restaurants where everybody knows each other. My favorite places to go are The Pizza Place and Crossroads Café. The pizza is to die for!
Public services here are always on top of things. The reaction time of police and fire are decent, they could be faster. A large part of the community is involved with public services. They are all concerned with everybody's safety and what's best for us.
