- Town in Oklahoma

Piedmont has a small town feel, but is right outside Oklahoma City. It gives you the best of both worlds. Living right outside of the city, you get to go do fun things and experience city life! As a small town, Piedmont allows you to still experience a tight-knit community, and a lively atmosphere. Piedmont also has many events throughout the year, like our parades for Independence Day and our Founders Day event. Piedmont is beautiful, with lots of land to run and play on. It's a really great place to grow up.
My favorite town that I have lived in. It is growing, but it still has a small-town feel to it. The schools are great, and each year the high school hosts a town-wide philanthropy project benefiting a Piedmont local with medical expenses.
Piedmont is the perfect place to raise a young family. It is a small town that's growing without losing the homey small-town feeling. Piedmont is a great place if you want to be out in the country but still close enough to a downtown city to go out on the weekends.
I moved to the school district a couple of years ago and love it. The people are friendly and the school has given me so many opportunities. It's a pretty small town but very warm and welcoming with cows that will moo morning salutations to you.
I like living here, the people are nice. It feels safe when going down the block at night. The schools were ok because the friends I made were very nice. One of my favorite things that piedmont has is Duck week because for one week the whole community including the schools raise money for someone in their community that has cancer or another type of illness.
I live in Piedmont. I have had a decent experience living here. However the town is filled with very little diversity and the town is filled with very closed minded people.
Small town feel while still being big and having stuff to do and being close to the "big city". people are friendly and the town puts lots of activities on.
Piedmont is a nice town to live in, there isn't a lot to do or see but everything you need is in close proximity.
Piedmont is a small town in Oklahoma that is family friendly. It has very good schools, however, it is growing at a very rapid rate. The roads are bad, but thats about it. it's very safe with little to no crime and there are always activities for the kids.
It's pretty much a town straight out of a country song. I can see cows outside the window in my math class. We drive by rural wheat fields every day on the way to school. The potholes in the roads are terrible and the town hasn't fixed them. The politics are unbelievably petty and excessive, as are most. There is a Piedmont Mom's Facebook page which is basically just a wall of complaints about other students and faculty. It's a wall of hate. We were named by a radio station in our area as, "The Snobbiest Town in Oklahoma" and instead of trying to prove them wrong, we made pink t-shirts saying "I'm a Piedmont Snob." I'm very unimpressed.
Town is nice and quiet, but it needs to quit acting like a small town away from the city and start acting like a growing city.
Piedmont is a great place to live if you're looking for a sense of community. There are many events throughout the year where Piedmont citizens get together, mostly revolving around the downtown Piedmont area. The school district and town itself are growing substantially, but unfortunately, it is hard to keep up with the funds necessary to maintain things such as roads. Hopefully this will change with time, but Piedmont is a great place to raise a family.
Piedmont will forever be my home, no matter where my future takes me. The quaintness, inclusivity and passion within Piedmont is where the beauty lies. Many people would say that there's not much to Piedmont due to its small size and "the middle of nowhere" atmosphere, yet its magic is encompassed within Piedmont. I love Piedmont unlike any other.
People stick around for a long time. There are several community-wide events that take place every year.
The police force is always out and about. Very low crime rates in general.
My area is a smaller area so it is very quiet and it is very rare for anything bad or anything majorly against the law to happen.
My community is a perfect balance between city and country. Its peacful and quiet, but yet, close enough to the city to live the city life as well. Being able to breath in fresh air everyday is always a bonus. Being close to the city makes it even better for finding things to do.
