Piedmont, South Carolina is a small town in the Upstate. It is only a hop, skip, and a short jump to the mountains, and only a few hours drive to get to the beach! Piedmont is a quiet family town. Housing is inexpensive. You can purchase a comfortable home with land and not break the bank! Hunting is popular, especially deer! I've seen three deer hanging out in my back yard! The fire department is a great group of guys that are quick to respond to any emergency!
Overall, Piedmont, SC, is a great place to raise a family.

Piedmont is a very friendly little town with very friendly people. There are many family owned businesses and a tight knit, hard working group of families. I see more and more diversity in this town every single day. The schools in the area care about their students and family doctors all know what they're doing. I can honestly say that I am proud to be a part of it.
This area is conveniently located; not too close and not too far away from the city. It's very quiet and family-friendly. There are several large manufacturing companies close by so there's several places to apply for employment. There are only two things I would like to see change; 1. we get a Chic-Fil-A restaurant and 2. we get another grocery store, such as Whole Foods or Sprouts Farmers Market close by. The only 2 convenient options are Food Lion and Ingles.
