There is a strong sense of community in this area and everyone knows eachother and are aware if different people move into a residence. There is the school, church and veterans building, a few stores and police station. People often tend to live there for a long time or their parents do after their children graduate. It is very safe and clean and well kept. It is very pet friendly with a few dog parks nearby peoples residences some of which are nearby the parks . There are many community gatherings and events that are posted in the paper and are family friendly open to the public.
Everybody is quite healthy in that area and have the resources and motivation to stay healthy and have access to better healthcare, gyms, participate in physical activities.
It is very safe and the city keeps up with construction and roadwork. There are areas with windy roads where bicyclists need to be careful when going around bends or blocks and alot of traffic around the school where parents pick up their children but aside from that it is generally easy to get to places. There is a bus that runs in Piedmont however there are many hills that make it dangerous so if a person doesnt drive or live near a bus route they can safely get to where they need to go.
