What I like about Pico Rivera is the close knit community that we have. Pico Rivera is somewhat of a small community and feels like home the second you cross the city line. I like how involved the community is with the events that the city throws for us. My favorite event is concerts at the park during a nice summer evening.
What I don’t like or wish could change about the city is the criminal activity. The city needs to crack down more on the violence for the safety of their residents. Once we get control on the violence, Pico Rivera will be a solid five stars for me!

I have lived here since I started pre-school, so the public education in this city is very good. The schools I attended care for the future of their students, which is a factor to consider. The accessibility of education is very efficient for students. Overall, this city provides its residents with public resources which are essential to us. The parks and libraries give residents the opportunity to have a good time while attending due to its excellent safety. This city is constantly looking for ways to improve which is a great idea for the future of this city. I would really consider others to stop by this city!
Pico Rivera is a very family friendly place and mostly everyone who lives there is great. Cost of living is affordable and the city isn't too big so it's easy to get around. I would like to see positive changes in the schools and the school district. Some of the people working in the city council are very sneaky/shady and have been caught doing illegal things but nobody votes them out. I think it would benefit the people of Pico Rivera and the children in these schools if we got new people to run the city council. Other than all of that, the city is actually a very decent place to live and I've never had any difficulties while living here.
