Phoenixville PA is one of the nicest and close-knit town I've ever known. There are plenty of festivals to attend on Main Street (The food truck festival is my personal favorite with plenty of diverse and unique food try)! The town itself if fairly small, and you can get to a lot of beautiful parks like Valley Forge National Park and Black Rock Sanctuary not far from town limits. In the neighboring town Oaks, there is SkyZone, Philadelphia Rock Climbing Gym, a Convention center, and many other activities not far from the town as well. And only 30 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Phoenixville is the perfect town for city and small town life.

Phoenixville is a massive step up from Philadelphia. The neighborhood is primarily clean and the people are calm. You can walk the streets at night without too much concern and usually, the only other people out there are joggers. You don't really hear too much bad news around about it. The only problem I have with it is the amount of white supremacists. Some neighbors combat them by putting up signs that say "everyone is welcome here", but it doesn't stop them from putting Confederate flags on everything they own and being generally gross to people. Once, some kid in a camo t-shirt and a confederate flag belt tried to convince me that slavery was still legal and living in the south. It wasn't the best experience.
Phoenixville has a classic small-town feeling that is a treasure! With many festivals and parades, along with an excellent school district, and an awesome night life, Phoenixville is a terrific place to raise a family.
