Phoenix has its ups and downs like any other place, but overall pretty good in my opinion! Its hot as hell in the summer, but 8 months out of the year, perfect! No snow to shovel, and close enough to snow if you want to visit. Large airport, nice (east valley) suburbs, decent outdoor activities (golf/hike/bike). Arcadia/Camelback-East/Encanto/pretty cool if you are young. Ahwatuckee/N. Phoenix pretty solid for families. West/South Phoenix= YIKES, ghetto. Don't expect downtown Phoenix to be like other major cities as far as nightlife, that revolves around Scottsdale/Tempe.
Review Phoenix
Phoenix is a great place to live. It is a big city with a small town neighborhood feel! If you are looking for lots of opportunities this is the place for you. The weather is great year-round and there are plenty of places to explore within a few hours of the city. The cost of living is very affordable and the valley is an awesome place to live while raising your family.

There are endless events throughout town providing several cultural opportunities to explore. We have some of the best southwest cuisine around, and visitors enjoy coming back to favorite local spots. You will truly enjoy what Phoenix has to offer!
Phoenix is a pretty great place to live! The majority of the year, the weather is just right. Fall doesn't typically start until the beginning of November, with the temperatures finally in the 80's. March brings us wonderful weather and baseball! Phoenix is the home of the cactus league spring training, that brings 15 teams to play in their spring "home" fields. Now, the summer brings ungodly temperatures, that will leave you feeling cranky. However, most houses have swimming pools, and if they don't there are plenty of water parks around, and resorts that will force you to have a weekend getaway. Overall, Phoenix is awesome! There are hiking trails that will leave you exploring, Mexican food that will leave you wanting more, and plenty of nice people that will welcome you..that's because there are a lot of people who we consider transplants. They finally get it right, and leave the snow to finally live in SUNSHINE!
