Hello everyone! Let me tell you more about the beautiful state that I have called home for the past 10 years. I have been living in Phoenix, Arizona, since 2009 and it has been great. Moving from the east coast, I was not sure if I would be able to get used to living in the desert compared to the dense greenery of Virginia. Surely enough I came to love my new desert home almost immediately, despite the heat which if you ask me is a lot more bearable than the high levels of humidity on the east coast. Phoenix feels like a safe place to live in general, and most residents are very friendly. Opportunities for continued education and career paths are abundant. I attend Grand Canyon University, in which I am pursuing a BS in Psychology, and it has been fantastic!
Vast location of Mountains and valleys. Amazing weather throughout the whole year, clear skies and stunning sunsets and mornings! Very diverse population of white, Latino, Asian, Mideastern, black people. Also, downtown phoenix is full of surprises. You just need to look and discover them all. It isn't rare to find people who are bilingual. I would mention the super heat during the summer but also super summer fun at water parks and pools!
