I love Phippsburg. I volunteer here as an EMT, and live on the beach year round? What else must I say? The community is that of warmth, friendliness and kindness, even though some of the lobster men are hard to work with on a social level. I love my beautiful Phippsburg!!!

Phippsburg is a great small town. It is quiet and right on the ocean. Popham Beach is only a few minutes drive away and there are great local restaurants. Though it is an extra 15-20 minutes to get into town from the peninsula, it is nice to be able to live peacefully and not worry about traffic and "city" life.
Very, very quiet. Phippsburg has the best beach in Maine, Popham Beach. The winters a bit cold but the spring, summer and fall and magnificent.
