Pewee Valley Reviews
While Pewee Valley is a quaint town, the train runs right thru it several times a day thanks to the Ford Truck plant just a few miles down the road. While the city of Pewee has an ordinance that doesn't allow the trains to blow their whistle while actually in Pewee, you can still hear them coming & going. Also, when there's a bad wreck on Interstate 71, cars usually deter through Pewee to get back on the interstate just outside of the city limits. This makes for a lot of traffic on a small, 2 lane state road.
I really enjoy the area I live in because of the small neighborhoods. I like being out away from the city and enjoying the smaller parts of town. The neighbors around all know each other and makes it feel like a sense of community. I really enjoy summer days and walking around the area.
There are not a lot of crimes in the area. The police are out occasionally and my mom usually knows some of them. They respond quickly to calls and take care of business.
I like the feeling of a small town because most people know someone in the area. Everything you need is in this town or the town next door. However, everyone that is born here tends to stay here so it would be nice to have new people more often.
Lots of developments going on
Not a lot yet around us for restaurants. Lots of developments going on, but not many restaurants yet
Pewee Valley Police are great
Great Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter can be a hit or miss and sometimes the ice storms are the worse.
Pewee Valley taxes I believe are way too high
Very unique, large and small houses, with yards and green space.
Extremely safe area. Zero to no crime in the area.
You get a good mix of all 4 seasons without having much of anything severe or extreme.
There is not really a nightlife in the area, but some fast food options, nothing exceptionally nice.
There is not exactly a lot in Pewee Valley, but you can get most everything you need within 15 minutes.
