Perrysburg is a growing community with that "small town" feel. It is the most wonderful place to grow up, I know this because I grew up here, and I loved every minute of it! Everyone is friendly and there is a very strong sense of community. This town is rich with history and is desirable for people of all ages. With a beautiful, riverfront downtown and old historic homes, Perrysburg is packed with charm. On the other hand, it is rapidly expanding and adding new subdivisions perfect for young families to grow in a great community. I would recommend this town for anyone, but once you come you will never want to leave!

Perrysburg is a great small-town feeling suburb of Toledo. A rapidly growing economic state has brought new growth to the Perrysburg area, including a brand new fifth/sixth grade school building. The Perrysburg School District is top-ranked in Ohio, and has exceptional student and teacher performance. One draw-back to the town of Perrysburg is a very, very small racial diversity. The vast majority of its population is caucasian, followed by Latinos and Asians.
Perrysburg is a very family friendly town, but Toledo the town very near to us, has one of the highest rate of the sex trade, and heroine epidemic. The property taxes and taxes here are horrendous. We lived in MN and I thought they were high there, but they are even worse here in Ohio. It is terrible. Also they have polluted and continue to pollute lake Erie, which is our source of water. there was one year where we could not drink our water for 3 days. Also our water bill is extraordinarily expensive! So I can not recommend this town at all.
