There is a strong sense of community in this area. This past year one of our neighbors' son committed suicide and the whole town came together to support the family. People made food, helped with their household chores and we even had a candlelight vigil on the town green. There is a beautiful park where families can have picnics, walk their dogs, play basketball or play on the playground with their kids. We watch out for one another and keep track of each others houses when people are away.

I like that there is clean fresh air and not a lot of traffic. There are some local things to do like the movies or bowling but not a lot. I enjoy fishing, biking and hiking but I wish there were more things for teens to do like dance clubs. I know that my town is very small and there is a lot more to do in bigger cities like museums, arcades, theatres, and sports clubs, but I like the safety and cleanliness of where I live.
We have very few natural disasters in this area. We have beautiful changing of the seasons, with foliage that people travel for miles to see. It is cold in the winter with beautiful snow storms. It is hot in the summer with lots of rivers and lakes to swim in. The fall and spring are cool with just enough rain to make the grass grow.
