I suppose if you like the heat and love the beach, Pensacola is for you! I didn't move down by choice but I'm happy I found Pensacola State College with an awesome Graphic Art degree program. I hope that in the future a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods will be built here. Pensacola State College has an ever growing art department and I desperately ask for an art supply store to be built in Pensacola, not just craft stores like Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

Pensacola is the quiet beach town that comes to mind when you simply want to get away. It encompasses the whitest beaches and largest National Seashore for hundreds of miles around. In addition to it's obvious appeal for waterside luxury, Pensacola is also a wonderful place to live. There are several Military Bases located in Pensacola and surrounding towns, making this an extremely military-friendly place. Also, our schools rank among the top 10 in the state! With multiple hospitals, marinas, restaurants, stores, and local culture, you're sure to find just what it is you're looking for in a hometown.
If one likes the sunny, humid weather, one would love residing in Pensacola. The weather is great here, perfect for jogging, biking, walking, etc. All residents have easy access to the lovely beaches here that are famous for its white sands. There is the Naval Aviation museum close by that is very cool to visit. It is relatively safe depending where you live. Downtown Pensacola routinely hosts a "Gallery Night" where people can admire amazing art created by local artists and listen to diverse performances of music and voice from singer's and bands. The town also has a public high school that offers the International Baccalaureate program that is truly educational and certainly help with the success of the students that chose to attend there. Pensacola is certainly a lovely place and I am lucky to live here.
