Pennington is full of a lot of rich, old, racist, white people. This is obviously not a good thing when you have to interact with them, but it does mean that it is a fairly nice town (because they all have money). However, there is definitely still a community of fairly liberal people living in Pennington as well. The major downside is almost everyone is white or sometimes Asian. So diversity is basically not great.

Suburban New Jersey with farms less than a 15 minute drive away, yet also a skip away from 295 and Route 1. Small town, but good school district. The small community is also very supportive of programs at the school and very invested in the success of its students. Additionally has access to many parks for hiking/walks.
Pennington is very cute and friendly. People are very proud of their neighborhood and generally take care of it. Hopewell Township is adorable, and very green. It's almost like living in the country but with more modern convenience.
