I love how tight-knit the community is in Pendleton. When challenges arise the people of Pendleton come together to work together for one common goal. Along with community support, the resources for students is amazing. From city-ran extracurriculars to resources to help students get to college, Pendleton has it all.
Pendleton is a fun and safe place to visit and live. Known as the rugged west, Pendleton is famous for the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Night Pageant. These two programs have been around for over 100 years and are still going strong. Pendleton has a lot of history, cowboy legends, Native American culture and strong community. If you visit, there is plenty to see and do, and you will go home with a piece of the Wild West with you. If you stay, you'll find Pendleton to have great schools, close community and a wide variety of activities to keep you busy. Pendleton has four full seasons, hot in the Summer and cold in the Winter, this makes for several outdoor activities that are great for family fun. Travel Pendleton is a great place to start your itinerary if you come for vacation. Living here combines the best of big city amenities and the friendly safety of a small town. Either way, hang your hat here and let Pendleton show you a good time.
Pendleton is an okay place to live. I am a gay man living here and the town is very conservative so it is not always the most welcoming environment. This town host great events like the Pendleton Round Up Rodeo, Whiskey Fest Concert, and Motorcylce/Old Car Shows all annually.
