Pembroke is an extremely welcoming college town with friendly, down- home people. They offer a close- knit community atmosphere and the university and community partner well together with various initiatives and service projects.
The crime in this particular area isn't bad at all. 95% of the time, there is an officer on the premises. This personally makes me feel safe in my living environment. I do however, have one suggestion. I think it would be in the best interest of the apartment complex to invest in security cameras on the corners of each building. Just in case incidents happen that the police are not aware of. That way, they will have security footage to go back on.
I really enjoy living here and I would choose to live here again. It is one of the best apartment complexes in the area and it is in walking distance to the college campus, which is very convenient.
