Pelham Reviews
Rating 3.6 out of 5 5 reviews
I was born a raised in this small town of Pelham for 17 years. The city is located in Mitchell County GA. I have many family members and friends living in Pelham also. People live in Pelham and travel anywhere from 20 to 50 miles for work. This is due to a scarcity in employment. This town is very limited with places to work. The city of Pelham only contains approximately 4 gas stations, 2 grocery stores, 5 restaurants, 1 funeral companies, school system, many churches, and host of other shops. The people that live in Pelham are very friendly and welcoming to visitors. Over all I have to say I love Pelham GA.
If you love small town living, then you will love Pelham, GA. I love knowing that people in the community will help one another without being asked. I had a flat tire and didn't know how to remove the tire from under the truck and received help from two local people walking by. They need a place to shop for groceries.
I am a current resident in Pelham. I stayed in country where it's not that much noise. It's peaceful where I live, that's the reason I stay in Pelham, to be honest. The line of work needs to be changed in Pelham. There is no really good job opportunities in Pelham, most people have to find work outside the city of Pelham. So, I would have to say that needs to change and if you do end up with a job in Pelham it doesn't pay worth anything.
