I loved living in Pearland in the year of 2011. It was so nice and peaceful. The environment was clean, and my neighbors were nice and friendly. There’s so many fun and interesting things to do that are nearby. The mall is in the middle of the town, which is great for everyone. The thing I liked most about Pearland was that there’s always cops patrolling the area, therefore I always felt safe wherever I went. If I could change anything, it would be the cost of living. I would make it more affordable, so that more great people could reside there!

Pearland is one of the best suburbs to grow up in. The sense of a tight knit community is always there and the level of hospitality goes beyond measure. Pearland is also an up and coming suburb with a population of over 100,000 and rising!
The quality of education is amazing and the high schools are both top ranking with one of the highest graduation rates in the Houston area. When it comes to safety, quality education, and friendliness Pearland is the first place that comes to mind. I could not have asked for a better place to call home.
Pearland possesses all of the suburban charm while remaining accessible all delights of the big city, as well as major educational institutions. My first few years living here were filled with acquainting myself to this small town, learning which local restaurants were best, and of course adjusting to the rural-like setting about Pearland.

After nearly a decade, much has changed. Pearland's population has swelled beyond capacity, traffic has consumed the small suburban roads, and commercial-driven expansion has literally torn away the rural charm from Pearland. While great strides are being made to ratify this, it is simply not enough. I fear this once charming suburb has become a victim of its own overzealous attempts to merge big city life with a town twinkled with the patina of southern-bred simplicity.
