I love how Pearl is safe, and there's hardly any crime here. For the past years that I've lived here Pearl has been great, and I haven't had anyone that I didn't know come up to me or threatened me while I have been living here. Pearl is one of the number one safest places to stay in MS. However, I dislike how the Pearl Policemen are always out and looking for people to give tickets too. This to me just shows how desperate the policemen are in Pearl are about giving tickets. I'm not saying they shouldn't be out at all, but all I'm saying is they shouldn't be out all the time. This is also the number one reason why people hate to visit Pearl. In the end no one wants to pay a high priced ticket.
Pearl has the best movie theater in the surrounding areas. The movie theater is located down the street from a list of great restaurants, Sam’s, and a nice outlet mall. I feel safe living in Pearl. I live down the street from the places just mentioned. It is such a great convenience as I am also right near I-20.
