Peabody Reviews

We love living in Peabody. We live in a neighborhood off 114. Friendly folks, well kept homes, great walkability, weekly trash pickup. There’s easy access to major highways and easy access to too-rated medical facilities. A great location for young families or retirees!
Peabody is a really quiet city about 30 minutes north of Boston. The location is quite something, with Boston being so close, and the border of NH being about 40 minutes out. From Peabody, you're basically in the center of so many different places to go. Peabody itself is nice as well, filled with various restaurants, living areas, and stores. In addition to this, Peabody hosts several elementary schools, as well as a middle and high school.
The Peabody community is very supportive of each other including children, the elderly, the less fortunate, and beyond. I'm proud to live in this city. Mayor Bettencourt keeps residents up to date with automated calls and voicemails to my cellphone, and the city website I find to be very informative and user friendly. We also have a municipal light plant so our electricity is pretty inexpensive. Overall I consider Peabody a great place to live.
