In general, Paynesville is a comfortable place to live, but over the years it has become almost unsafe in some areas. Lots of violence and drugs. Not too much for jobs. A good handful of community events. The community does stick together. Everyone knows everything. School is making good updates and they think about what is best for students. The lakeside is beautiful. Nice nature scene. Starry Stonewort in Lake Karonis, an invasive species.
Paynesville is a nice small town, that still has places like the bigger towns. Everyone is very friendly and knows what is going on. You can easily walk to where you need to if you do not have a vehicle.
Paynesville is a quaint town that is filled with friendly people. It has a Café where many people eat on Sundays and a coffee house right down town. The bookstore down town is filled with pre-read books of all types and titles. A quilting shop brings friends together while they learn to quilt. There are a few antique stores one can explore. Lake Koronis is just south of town which has three islands you can boat to and have picnics on.
