Pasadena Reviews
Rating 4.53 out of 5 288 reviews
Pasadena gives a small town feel to a big city. There is so much history here, and there are always events going on. Great variety in shopping, food, and recreation. The mountains are so close and have great lookout points. I would recommend Pasadena even for a quick visit!
Pasadena has everything! Lots of restaurants, plenty of entertainment, nightlife, schools, shopping, lots of activities. But.. it's not affordable. Homes here on average start at around 1.5M. There's also a ton of homeless that live in Old Town Pasadena.
Pasadena is a beautiful town with great people. There are a lot of great historical buildings to admire especially near Old Pasadena. They do a great job of preserving their culture and history! The downside to that is that some apartment buildings around town are starting to show their age quite a bit. If you can get past that though, there's so much going for Pasadena. The restaurants are all AMAZING. So diverse and so high quality. There's lots of specialized grocery stores for whatever kind of cuisine you cook. The people here are some of the friendliest I've ever met. It really has all the amenities of a big city but with small town vibes. People will smile and say hi to you on the street. People remember you around town and genuinely care about how you're doing. If the cute historic charm of Pasadena doesn't win your heart, the people there definitely will.
