Pasadena has great restaurants and coffee shops, interesting things to do, and lots of trees. The Old Town area is often lively and feels pretty safe to walk around. It's convenient that the Metro Gold Line runs right through town. I just wish it was more bike accessible (there are few bike lanes, especially in busy parts of town), and that the Pasadena Public Transit system/map were easier to navigate!

Pasadena is community where everyone knows each other and is always there to lend a helping hand. We have the Tournament of Roses Parade every year which brings thousands of people from all over the world to come and witness all of what Pasadena has to offer. It is a community with art nights, free concerts in the park, flea markets, farmer's market, and so much more. Pasadena is not just some other city, its a way of life!
Pasadena is a wonderful city! There is all around access to most of the major attractions in southern California. It is a very diverse city with a lot of acceptance, heavily influenced by Los Angeles. Most people you meet on the street or in the store are generally nice and easy to have a conversation with. Pasadena itself is home of the Rose Bowl and offers exciting events year round. Those who live here are proud and happy to do so.
