Pasadena is the perfect city for singles, couples and families alike. Situated in the Suburbs of Los Angeles County, this city has the perfect weather and atmosphere. Beautiful houses and amazing apartments and condos. There are many areas full of great restaurants and shopping while having access to major freeways. With such beautiful landscapes and buildings it is perfect for walking and hanging out around the city safely. A great city to live!

My experience in Pasadena have been great! There is a lot of historical buildings and a sense of community here in Pasadena California. There are a variety of restaurants and including a variety of department stores that make living here in Pasadena accessible for community living. In addition, the choices for the outdoors is amazing for hiking, biking, and appreciating the mountains and rock streams make this an adventuress place to live.
Beautiful and diverse area that covers a larger area of land than is typical for LA County.

Unfortunately Niche doesn't subdivide the large city of Pasadena into its very unique neighborhoods like to does for other cities (Louisville, KY for example shows dozens of neighborhoods whike Pasadena is considers a neighborhood of Los Angeles).

Pasadena has billionaires and the poorest living within miles of each other and that adds to the uniqueness of the city.

There are numerous private schools because the public schools rank lower since bussing began in the 70's. Still many remain committed to PUSD and great schools do exist.

I love living in Pasadena and the Gold Line makes it realistic to commute to downtown or head east towards Azusa.

Housing prices are very high but you can find more affordable options in various neighborhoods (Northwest, East, etc.)
