Jackson is okay, It can definently use a lot more chain restaurants and so more things to do. Often, once you have done it once you have done it all. I believe Jackson needs a minor league team of some sort.

There isn't much to really do unless you are into walking everywhere to look at scenery while walking.
I currently have no problem with crime and safety.
