Parkway Reviews

Parkway is a great neighborhood on the up and up. More and more people are implementing drought tolerant and pollinator friendly yards, and you see solar panels all over the place. Constant improvements going on to the roads and peoples' homes. You see people out walking dogs or taking a jog, and families walking kids to school. Not without its problems, but I do feel safe and think it is only getting better.
The overall experience in this area is busy. The reason for this is that my house is facing the road like a free way. It is loud and everyone is staring at you when they drive by. Plus the neighbors are not that decent, meaning they are slobs. They trash my yard and smoke cigarettes that stink up my house. There is not much road way to have cars pass through or park. The neighbors have their whole family park in front of my house and block the driveway. Some neighbors are loud. Plus, there is a school district across the street, which is nice. The crime here is bad at night, there are run aways and the helicopter is on top of the house, flashing Hollywood lights through your window. A lot of homeless people walk by and dig into peoples trash cans, but they do not do any harm to people's home. The home is comfortable, but outside, it's hard. The backyard is a fair size, small, but the front yard is hard to enjoy and do anything privately. I must note that many animals go missing. If you have a dog or cat, and they are set loose, you will never see them again unless you are lucky. I have lost a dog and a cat ever since I moved here. It is very disappointing and heart breaking.
It is okay during the day because traffic is there to help you if you are in trouble, but at night it can be dangerous because there are run away crimes and sometimes gun shooting. The police flies down the street and the helicopter is above the house flashing Hollywood light. I have not heard any burglary, which I believe the neighborhood is secure if you take the responsibility to lock your home.
