Everyone is so nice and friendly! Everyone pitches in and helps out their neighbors with lawns, barbecues, etc. it is quite but safe. The police respond to every call! They even escorted me to my house because I had to park on the next block over! I love this city! They participate in summer fun every weekend with things like annual summer shred fitness events to house music night! They welcome each and every resident even those of the neighboring cities! There’s not much to do at night! There’s one billiard/lounge in park forest but there is night like just 5-10mins away! Needless to the city is small and quiet but you’ll always have something to do.

I have lived in Park Forest for the majority of my life. During the 17 years of living there, Park Forest has changed for the worse. Residents aren't taking care of their property. There is a lot of violence that goes on and people are pretending to not see it. I remember there was a time where I could walk around the neighborhood and not be afraid. It seems like everyone is moving out because of the neighborhood is changing for the worse.
Park Forest is a diverse community. However, there are some incidence of crime and concerns about safety. Many people try to keep to themselves and my neighbors are somewhat friendly. There are some job opportunities but safety comes into play. My family has not had major concerns with Park Forest and our street seems to be very quiet. It may help that one of the neighbors is a police officer. The housing is very affordable and there are many homes for sale. I do not mind living in Park Forrest, however, I would like to attend college to experience new experiences.
