Growing up in Paris was feeling safe and free. I think Paris has potential if it was taken care of, but junkies hang out around the square and people tend to steal. The schools are very good with many resources available.
I think it all depends on how you look at it. I would definitely like to see some changes to this town. We have more bars than anything else and not enough activities for the children. I would really like to see some more family oriented place here. We have a few things for kids to do, but a lot of them are only certain times. We need to have more events for families. Although we do need these things I do like the small town atmosphere here. It's not a big city and the traffic is not real bad. The best place to live around here would be in the country, it is really peaceful and it helps you clear your mind.
Paris, IL is the town that I was born, raised and currently reside. We have several factories which are the backbone to our community because without them, are town would be very little and not offer much. We take pride in our community and the school system tries to give our students the best education for each student. In addition, the teachers of the school help the students prepare for their future and give them the best advice and guidance in order for that student to succeed. The best quality of Paris, is that we are a caring community and will step up to the plate to help a family in need, if needed. Which most of the bigger cities do not always provide for their communities.
