Working in Paramount
Overall the paramount area is good. The high school is right across the street from an area that contains multiple stores, such as a Starbucks, a boba spot, and a convenience store. This not only allows us students a place to relax and hang out with friends after school, but the boba spot and Starbucks in specific allows many of us to use their free WiFi in order to study and do work. This works well because since it’s right next to the school, going there isn’t a problem since we all go to school anyways. Also since we’re surrounded by stores, Jobs aren’t really a problem. But one thing that is worrying is the amount of accidents that happen due to some people driving too fast, racing, or losing control of their vehicle, this especially happens near the school in which there already have been multiple accidents and victims, other than that, there aren’t really many problems that catch my eye, overall, paramount isn’t too bad.
The city of Paramount overall is a very good city. Not only do they care for their residents and their safety but they also provide recreational activities for the elderly and the kids. They have numerous events throughout the year, aimed at uniting the city. Some of these events include night markets, farmers' markets, fairs, and festivals. They have gastronomical diversity as well as cultural diversity. They have started implementing environmentally-friendly policies aimed at providing quality life.
Paramount is a quiet, primarily Hispanic city with a small downtown area. Because Paramount only encompasses about 5 miles, basically everything is within walking distance. The city government is really good about maintaining the roads and planting trees to beautify the city. While Paramount is home to an absurd amount of fast-food restaurants for such a small city (especially around the local high school), it also boasts multiple public parks equipped with workout machines that the public can use for free. On the whole, Paramount is a very peaceful, safe, and fun place to live a happy life.
