In the city of Paradise there is lots of activities or entertainment and the environment is cleaner than other certain areas. Graffiti is not seen commonly in this community, I used to see lots of graffiti when I lived in Henderson. I have made an observation that there aren't a lot of Hispanic or Latino supermarkets or people in the city of Paradise. If one thing could change in this specific part of town I would want to see more Latino businesses opened up. Mexican food cravings happen very often in my household but to satisfy these cravings we need run a twenty minute drive. Another thing I would like to see be improved in this area is more of a diversity. White people are usually seen in this area but seeing more diversity would be great.

Friendly inner-city neighborhood. It has convenient access to everything you need. Neighbors are friendly and communicative. Police response time is good. Very little issues with petty crime. For a neighborhood with 1k homes the crime rate is below the average for the county. Schools could be better and hopefully they will get better. The roads have been improving. The location is very close to UNLV Campus. Home values are rising and sales happen quick in Paradise Palms. Great location only 3.4 miles to the strip and 5 miles to the new Raider stadium. Doesn’t get much better than that.
The area is great for being able to get to places like grocery stores and entertainment. I'm walking distance from school which means I'm not very late to class! However, the environment and the social standing is terrible. There are lots of schools, including the university, around and there is a high crime rate for drugs. It sucks because the area has great places but the people aren't getting any better.
