There is nothing to do but people are very welcoming. Usually, visitors are relatives of residents.
It is very small, but the people are nice. I have lived here my whole life. There is not much to do, and there are very few restaurants and stores.
We have mostly warm weather, though it is humid. By the beginning of spring, it is hitting 80 degrees so we have a long beach season (the beach is only an hour away.) Fall is gorgeous, winter is mild, and spring and summer are wonderful. Sandals and shorts are key items in our wardrobes. We occasionally have hurricanes affect our region.
We have three restaurants in town. One of these mostly serves southern food like fried chicken and such on buffet. Another basically just serves burgers. For the most part, you can't order drinks in town because we don't serve them and if they did, the whole town would be talking about your "alcoholism" if you did. There are no places to go clubbing for at least thirty-five minutes.
Most people in this area have jobs outside of the town. Many people commute to work. Other than being a teacher, a nurse, dental assistant, or cashier, you are likely to have to commute to work.
We have a local restaurant that is good
There is only an IGA and Dollar General that offers jobs!
