Palos Park is your dream destination. That is, if you are looking for a small rural town with lots of friendly people. The bountiful forests, flowers, and surrounding nature is so picturesque throughout all four seasons. Known for the historic forested ravines, fresh water springs, and fertile farmland, Palos Park is the best country retreat you can get. You also can't forget the vintage ice-cream parlor The Plush Horse when stopping by; a sure nostalgic pull on the taste buds.

Palos is beautiful! Big oak trees abound. It has a small town, rural atmosphere surrounded by forest preserves. Lots of people that grew up in Palos move back to the area. Great place to raise a family.
I love living in Palos Park. It is such a peaceful nice area to live in and I have so many good friends who I have known since first grade of elementary school. There are so many trees and the scenery is beautiful. The community provides so many sports programs and volunteer community work to which I have participated. The schools have received very high ratings and it is such a great place to raise a family. When I finish college and one day get married, I plan to continue to live in Palos Park.
