The reason I'm giving the city of Palos Hills, IL an average rate is because it's an average city. One thing I like is that Amos Alonzo Stagg High School partners with Moraine Valley so that the kids can take college course while still in high-school. And for those who live in-district and are trying to go to Moraine Valley, the classes are relatively affordable. I've been living here for about a year now and its been a pretty good experience. The police here are very visible in the city even though very seldomly crime happens here.

I go to school in the Palos Hills area and can certainly say that I feel very safe since there are quite a lot of police cars patrolling the city. Even though the city is relatively small it is positioned conveniently close in proximity to Orland Park and La Grange villages that have a lot of opportunities for recreational activities.
In addition, Palos Hills has a very nice public library, great fitness center located on the Moraine Valley Community College's campus.
Palos hills is a great place to live. Its very quiet and when summer comes around everyone is outside. Living her for the past 20 years shaped me for who I am today. All my neighbors and I have known each other for years and grew up as childhood friends. I have so many stores around me and that is very convenient for me. Very safe and public schools are close to me so my siblings were always walking to school and back home. Lovely city.
