I have lived in Palos Heights my whole life. Firstly, Palos Heights is a town where you do not have to worry about safety as an issue. The community feel of this town helps provide such a sense of security for personal safety. It is very widely shown that if you were ever in a dangerous situation, there would be no hesitation that you would be helped from members of this community. There are also so many resources to help you if you did ever find yourself in a bit of trouble. Palos Heights is a great place for kids to grow up, as there are so many opportunities for fun, creative activities for kids to get involved with for all ages. Also, the school system in Palos Heights is phenomenal. It is very apparent that the kids in the school system are very well cared about and always have the best interest in mind. There are also many things to do in adult life in this town! Overall, Palos Heights is a safe, fun community!
Such a lovely suburb in south suburbs of Chicago! In Palos Heights you get the feeling you live with nature yet have all the amenities nearby. I love, love our Police Department as they go above and beyond to keep us safe and all the police are very friendly and respectful. Our area is culturally diverse, especially with Trinity College and it's absolutely beautiful campus in our neighborhood make walking the area so lovely. If I would change anything it would be to bring more food shops and quality restaurants to the area that we could all benefit from to fill some of these empty buildings.
What I enjoy about the city of Palos Heights is that it is fairly quiet with plenty of small neighborhoods. The population is relatively average with ranging homes at different price points, mostly consisting of town/residential homes. However, the town mainly holds bank or religious structures. Once visiting all the restaurants or features that the town has to offer, it can be quite easy to get bored.
