Palmyra is my hometown! I grew up here, moved away for a brief stint, and moved back. It is a sweet rural town with a good mix of farmers and pockets of suburban housing developments. The school systems have improved since I was young and now includes a top of the line high school. The area is generally safe and family friendly with new businesses sprouting locally as the town continually grows. There are many great 4-H programs for kids, too!

Great small country town to raise kids, just lacking local convenience and shopping options. All we have is foodlionin the county, so you have to travel to Charlottesville or Richmond for clothes.
It feels like family. Everyone is very friendly! Neighborhood feels safe. Family friendly. They have a nice park and a dog park.
