Palm Bay is a wonderful town near Melbourne Fl, a place to get away from chaos. It houses multiple theaters, shopping areas, and its own large conservation area to just barbecue and enjoy scenery. My only complaint is that there are not many activities to do, such as malls or family activities such as escape rooms. However, Orlando,Fl is only an hour drive away!

HUGE town with A LOT to do if you are an outdoors person. Very diverse, quiet, lots of business, schools are great, no jobs, safe to walk at night, ride your bike, walk your dog (some areas from the NE you might need to be cautious). Grapefruit mountain bike field, compound for ATV/anything with mud, Paintball fields, Turkey Creek for kayak/boat, Kite boarding, close to the beach, lot of wild life (cranes, turtles, snakes, racoons, bobcats, wild hoags, horses, peacocks. Andretti's theme park, trampoline park, skate parks, dog parks. If you are a city person check out Viera or the South.
I have lived in Palm Bay for over 20 years. I can definitely see a change in how dynamics of this city. It is growing rapidly with the expansion of living areas and accessibility. I can get to anything I need for comfortable living and work within 10-15 minutes. For nightlife, the only thing here would be movie theatres, but a quick 20-minute drive to downtown Melbourne would satisfy that. Public schools are alright, overall average. Safety in the area is average, plenty of law enforcement but there are certain areas that I would avoid at night. It is a decently quiet place to raise a family but the more growth it is experiencing, the more problems I can see it face.
