I've lived in Palatine for about 14 years now. It has become very close to my heart, for I have made some amazing unforgettable memories. Everybody is so very nice and welcoming. Your neighbors become some of your best friends. The weather is cold in the winter, a bit rainy in spring, but overall very nice in fall and summer. Many family owned restaurants and commercial restaurants are sprinkled around the town, only about a 15-20 minute drive max. In Palatine, there is always something going on. It's never boring for long. Safety isn't a concern here, either. The Palatine Police Department is very on top of things.

It's alright, a bit boring but hey, that's what some of us want. Also, the food is good. In general. Could be worse.
Palatine is a great, small suburb to live in but I would like to see more restaurants, nightlife, and recreational facilities in the area.
