Traffic tends to be heavy. This is the case mostly during rush hour and during the holiday rush. A lot of the businesses are within walking distance, including doctor offices. The apartments are only okay. Depending on where you live and who manages it the apartment may not get the maintenence it needs without pressuring the rental office. Even then, things that are fixed may break down again. There's not a lot of violence.
Oxon Hill Maryland is a good place to live. Oxon Hill is very close to everything. It is near the MGM casino, Washington DC and Virginia. It is a great place for shopping and affordable living. Every since the MGM casino has been built it has become very diverse. I like the schools, which are school uniform schools and the area is family friendly.
