Oxford is a small town with a close-knit community. Most are nice, but residents have mostly conservative beliefs. Confederate flags are sometimes seen flown on trucks parading around town, so that's a bit concerning. First Friday, a community event, is very entertaining and fun, with lots of food vendors, shops open, and live music. Schools have very outstanding teachers and guidance counselors, but school layouts are questionable. Overall, Oxford is a town full of mostly working-class people with deep-rooted opinions.

Oxford Township is a cute town with happy people living there. Many small businesses and parks that make this area special and different from others. Hosts many events in this lovely town which gives the community of people a chance to get out and meet others. Sure sometimes there can be traffic or not so fun times but that does not even come close to how nice it is here. This town just started growing and putting in new things for people to enjoy like a movie theater and car park. I believe I am lucky to have grown up here.
I have enjoyed living in Oxford PA , we moved out here about 16 years ago and the area is blooming with new business, homes and families. This area is an suburban area with many farms, single family homes and growing business. Even with the area building up it still keeps the open land which is a beautiful aspect of Chester County. There is a nice mix of diversity from Caucasian, Hispanic, African American and Amish cultures. You can experience many of these cultural difference through many local restaurants and events through the community.
