My husband and I were both born and raised in Owosso. We moved away with our baby boy back in 1983 due to work relocation. Now that we are nearing retirement we have purchased a home in Owosso and look foward to becoming snowbirds between Owosso and FL each year. Owosso has always been in our heart and we consider it "home". The people, the town, the atmosphere, everything. It is refreshing after living through the hustle and bustle of a busy metro city in FL. It is nice to see that many people we had grown up with and gone to school with are still living in Owosso. That speaks volumes.... Love Owosso!

I have lived in Owosso for (almost) my entire life. I love it here! There are historic spots to check out such as Curwood Castle and the house of James Oliver Curwood. One thing that would make Owosso better is if it had more places/activities for college students. As of right now, I have not seen anything like that.
I grew up in this town and think it is a wonderful place to raise a family. It has a small town feel with no real need to go elsewhere. Owosso Public Schools are wonderful and rated as some of the best in the state of Michigan, and the community is built by people who were born and raised right here. The people who have moved away continue to support their hometown because it really is a wonderful place!
