Ottawa Hills Reviews
Ottawa Hills has beautiful old but well maintained houses, the village is very green with many trees and you even have the opportunity to see deer out and aboutand maybe in your own yard..... sometimes even closer than that, sometimes they are smack dab in your windshield. Yes, Ottawa Hills has a deer problem. But that's not why I only gave the village a average score... that my friends, is mainly because Ottawa Hills has nothing to offer you outside of beautiful housing and scenery, and living with higher taxes for worst services... Ottawa Hills just gave it's fire department over to Toledo's fire department because Toledo's are more efficient and so that they can try to escape those heavy taxes. Nothing ever happens in Ottawa Hills, it's very boring. And by that I mean anything entertaining and I mean anything... you will need to travel out far distances to get to. But it's pretty and peaceful.
Great schools, great neighborhoods. A lovely, walkable community, with many beautiful, historic homes; large meadows with a creek winding through; village police force and services (trash & recycling).
Great town!! Everyone here is really nice and there really is a homey feel to this neighborhood. The schools here are the best in the state and the high school is one of the best ones I've seen by far.
