A Ottawa is a town with a great schooling system to allow students to succeed in their future career goals. The town has a very homey feel to it, were everyone is nice and seeming knows each other. It's a great place to raise kids and live in with many different activities in the town including local sports games, theater productions, a skating ring, active churches, along with the great local restaurants, businesses and a bustling main street.

Ottawa is a quaint small town in rural Kansas. Ottawa is home to Ottawa University, Ottawa High School, and it is within close proximity to many other area high schools. Ottawa is located just a short twenty-five minutes away from Lawrence, KS, an hour from Topeka, KS, and an hour from Kansas City. Ottawa is the hub of Franklin County, so there are many annual activities that take place every year.
Very hometown feel, support local businesses and our student's. Family friendly activities including 2 parks, community events at Forest Park including a dog park. Have a wonderful animal shelter with very professional and loving staff that help the community. I left the big city to come to a small town where everyone is family
