Otego is a quaint little town. Everybody knows everybody. Its a very small community with a lot of love. There is plenty of country roads to enjoy. The parks are beautiful! The people are nice and welcoming. The school district needs some adjusting with their curriculum as well as their code of conduct. All in all its just a good hometown. Pleasurable and safe.

Most people are friendly enough, but a lot of us live out in the middle of nowhere and really depend on ourselves and the few neighbors we have. A lot of people are mistrusting, but once they warm up to you, prepare for a long conversation. A lot of people around here also give, they give so much. Even people who don't have a lot to begin with have no problem donating money to children or the volunteer fire departments and emergency services. All you have to do is ask for help and people will come.
Small communities have ups and downs. The ups being everyone is there to help in trouble times. Downs being the busy bodies that create problems. Also the downs are the smaller tax base and lack of job opportunities.
