I've moved to Oswego when I was five years old and have had a positive experience ever since! Everyone here is very nice and caring. From going to the schools, I've met so many of my close friends. Plus, it helped introduce me to different ethnicities, religions, and races. Overall, Oswego is a great town!

I've lived in Oswego for almost 8 years now. It depends where you live in Oswego though. If you can afford a more expensive house move to Churchill subdivision or hunt club. Some parks of Oswego are sketchy! From my experiences the sketchy parts of Oswego are Long Beach, or boulder hill subdivision. Anyways its about 50 minutes - 1 hour from the city. Overall the village is nice their are roughly 32,000 people living in the area. I would say it's a step down from Naperville, but a step up from Aurora. Great family friendly area! Totally recommend! :)
Its a town right between Chicago suburb and Illinois farmland. There are many running and biking trails in the area for those who are active. The downtown is small and cute, nice for walking around, but not big or full enough to make a day out of. Being a healthy person there aren't many local food options in the town, but the neighboring city, Aurora, has many options. There are many chain restaurants and stores all over the town. Oswego is a nice balanced town with a mix of people from different cultures and political standpoints. The nightlife isn't amazing, but again, Aurora, its neighboring city has many options. Each year more and more town wide events are popping up. We have a nice farmers market and host a few holiday events and festivals throughout the year.
