There is a little bit of crime but not like the bigger places
I enjoy the country living and the nice quiet living
Even though the area is sparsely populated, police cars are still seen patrolling the streets often. Crimes are rare, and in a small community like this, a big deal. Everyone helps out and makes sure the issues get resolved and justice is served.
The atmosphere is the calming feeling of being isolated in the woods, but the comforts of civilization are all just a short drive away. The only difficulty is the winter weather, where there is little help in terms of snow removal and heating, but my family and I have survived, and we'd all do it over again. Compared to everywhere else in the country, this area should be top 10%. There's nothing luxurious about the place, and yet, I think it's the kind of simple life most people really enjoy. An airport is being built in the city close by, so the value of the large properties will be going up, and hopefully, the local economy will be stimulated by bringing in some people and jobs too.
